A further service of EMPA, which can be given freestanding or as part of a project is our hands-on training. On offer are targeted training sessions on specific aspects of proposal writing or project management, for example

• on project management and reporting or
• on applying for Marie-Curie-Fellowships, single or in small teams
  

The most extensive offer is a one-week course called “How to write a small research proposal to obtain EC funding”. The output of this course will include several draft proposals!

 

All training will use examples from the area of environmental and marine research to illustrate the EC requirements and to explain the EC jargon. Small groups up to a maximum of 15 participants will be guaranteed maximum benefit. Generally, training will be offered in-house.
